If you want to be seen as something of a subject matter expert, here’s your chance.
Do you have the client/customer facing EDI experience it takes to join one of the UK’s largest beer and beverage companies? Are you thirsty for the opportunity to play your part in the smooth running of a world-class brewery business? Congratulations, you’re in the right place.
You probably know us best for Carlsberg and Carlsberg Export. But, there’s more to us than meets the eye. From Tetley’s to Tuborg, San Miguel to Somersby Cider – we produce lots of leading brands. We also brew over 1 billion pints of beer each year and, last year, we made a £20m investment in a new bottling line at our landmark Northampton brewery. We’re the Premier League’s official beer too, not to mention our partnership with the UK’s best festivals – Glastonbury and Download to name just a couple.
Right now, we’re looking for an experienced SAP certified individual to ensure the effectiveness of our UK EDI solution and local system interfaces to our C_One system. A great chance to become the specialist responsible for the exchange of EDI messages within the local market, we’ll rely on you to provide first level support to the business. You’ll also make sure all data is exchanged accurately, on time and in line with business requirements. Assessing, advising and managing changes to existing EDI and interface solutions will be important too, as will planning and implementing a programme of continuous improvement. Acting as the single point of contact for all EDI/interface change requests; monitoring and managing system performance and taking part in cross-country knowledge sharing activities – all are elements of this business critical role.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you have proven experience of using SAP Sales & Distribution and Material Management modules and a track record in SAP IDOC/EDI configuration. Knowledge of CRM and other SAP modules e.g. Finance and Warehouse Management would also be handy, while proficiency using EDI TRADACOM, EDIFACT and XML is essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are vital too, together with a high degree of customer focus and good communication & presentation skills. Adept at integrating SAP with third party systems, any exposure to large SAP implementations/ projects in your career to date, possibly within an FMG setting, would also be a plus.
On top of the culture and career development opportunities that make working with us so rewarding, we’ll also give you a product allowance and flexible benefits, including private medical insurance, a defined contribution pension scheme and generous holidays. So, what are you waiting for? The brewing challenges you crave with a world leader could be yours for the taking.
