We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Manager to join us in our Customer Engagement team.

Sat within our Customer Management division Customer Engagement is a high profile team and acts as a custodian of existing customer communications. We consistently strive to enrich the relationship with each of our 10m customers through more personalised, relevant and valuable communications delivered within a multi-channel environment. Our aim is to ensure our customers get the most value out of their Sky subscription and at the same time support Sky’s retention, revenue and product attachment ambitions.


In this role you will be instrumental in leading and implementing the multi-channel customer communications plan to deliver against the organisations retention, revenue and operational efficiency targets. You will also play a critical part in developing and implementing plans to support the organisations existing customer multi-channel targets.

Day to Day Responsibilities

End to end campaign management
Ability to establish and lead cross functional working teams
Development of test & learn programmes to continuously identify opportunities to improve
Identify opportunities to engage customers in a multi-channel environment with immediate focus on online/ offline integration and enhancing digital communication plans
Work across the organisation to leverage opportunities to drive additional product attachment in order to support retention and engagement objectives
Audit of end to end customer journey’s to ensure existing customer communications drive optimal performance
Establish reporting & metrics to ensure activity can be attributed to retention, revenue and engagement measures
Development of segmented communications to deliver relevant / valuable messages tailored to customer needs
Partner with the research, insight and data analytics teams to develop insight driven plans and inform recommendations to improve performance of future activity

Essential Skills

Proven track record of planning multiple campaigns/programmes and managing delivery against budgets and deadlines
Proficient knowledge base of multi-channel marketing
Experience of working in a digital environment with things are constantly evolving
Entrepreneurial spirit; ambitious, self-starter who is able to effectively navigate an ambiguous environment where plans/projects change at short notice
Flexible attitude, appreciate that the competitive landscape is constantly evolving and able to adapt approach accordingly.
Real team player with solid communication skills
Strong understanding of a subscription based business

Desirable Skills

Degree educated with a specialism in marketing
Experience in the media sector
